In October 2024, the Kleon Wire Detection System underwent live testing by Avincis, the leading provider of emergency aerial services in Europe. This was a crucial opportunity to evaluate how the system performs under real operational conditions — where timing, precision, and safety are non-negotiable.
The test was carried out using an Avincis L332, equipped with Kleon’s lightweight detection unit. During flight, the system continuously scanned the terrain for wires — one of the most unpredictable and dangerous threats in low-level operations.
The feedback from Avincis pilots was both clear and encouraging:
“All wires were detected.”

This real-world validation marked a major milestone for Kleon. Not only did the system demonstrate strong technical reliability, but it also earned the trust of pilots operating in some of the most challenging environments in Europe. The ability to detect both large and small wires — in real time — adds a critical layer of situational awareness that traditional systems simply can’t match.

For our team, the Avincis test reaffirmed the importance of what we’re building. Every flight should be as safe as possible, and we’re committed to making sure pilots have the visibility they need — even in the most confined or unfamiliar terrain.
